Welcome to the Rotary Club of West Austin
Are you a person who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? We are the center of service in our community. Our members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship.  Our primary service program is an outreach suite of projects for an Austin elementary school, Wooldridge.  Our Rotary Club was founded here in Austin in 1953.  We meet for lunch on the first three Thursdays in each month at 12 pm, at Casa Chapala Restaurant and Cantina, 9041 Research Blvd., Austin 78758 and on Zoom. You are welcome to join us!
Club Happenings
On July 3rd, The Rotary Club of West Austin lost a dearly loved member, Aubrey Linn Wilson. Just last October, the club celebrated Aubrey’s 100th birthday. It was a great celebration during which Aubrey displayed his characteristic warm smile.
We lost Howard Brunson, a former member of the Rotary Club of West Austin, on Sunday, April 7.  Howard was an active member of our club for many years and had served as Club President in 2006/2007.

A memorial service will be held at the St. Matthews Episcopal Church (8134 Mesa Drive) on Saturday, April 27 at 1pm.

Donate to Support Adaptive Ski Organizations

Thank you for your interest in donating to The Davis Boyd Memorial Foundation (DBMF). The focus of the foundation is to raise funds for adaptive ski programs.

During ISFR’s annual ski week, DBMF holds various fundraisers (Peak-to-Valley Challenges with sponsor support and member-sponsored auctions, to name just two) to raise money. A portion of the funds are donated to the local adaptive ski program. DBMF is a United States Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3) charity.

Why Adaptive Skiing?

Adaptive ski programs reach a wide variety of individuals, from adolescents to wounded warriors.
“We use recreation, therapy, and continued support to give people of all abilities a better life. Together, we bridge the gap between disability and belonging.”
