IN-PERSON & ZOOM MEETING : The RYLA Experience

Each year with the exception of 2020 and 2021, which were interrupted due to COVID outbreaks, the Rotary Club of West Austin has sponsored two to four local high school juniors to attend the District 5870 Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) one-week summer camp.  This year's camp was held at a new venue, Peaceable Kingdom, near Killeen.  This year, RWCA sponsored four students who attend area high schools, Anderson and McCallum.

Each of our club's four 2022 RYLA campers will have the opportunity to describe their RYLA experience and the impact it had in helping to shape their outlook for the future.
