WARC-Rotary Speaker Jack Roberts

Today our Speaker Jack Roberts will present a discussion of the "Art, Science and Enjoyment of Fly Fishing.” The presentation will touch upon many aspects of fly fishing, complete with "party favors" to take home!
The presentation should offer something of interest for, the casual observer, beginners, as well as advanced anglers.
Jack Roberts is a lifelong Austin resident who currently owns and operates a state governmental affairs practice and who is active in numerous private investment ventures. Prior to opening his governmental affairs practice, he served in the executive administrations of two Texas governors, as well as Chief Deputy Comptroller of Public Accounts under the late Bob Bullock.
Over the years he has been involved in many philanthropic causes, having served on the board of many non-profit organizations both in and outside of Texas.
Roberts is an avid fly fisher and longtime wine collector. He and his wife Janet Guttman of San Antonio have been married for over 34 years. They have no children, but boast a family history of many four-legged members!
