TxDot Public Information Officer Kellen Mohrmann will discuss TxDOT road projects in the Austin area.

About Kellen Mohrman

Kellen Mohrmann is the Lead Public Information Officer for the TxDOT Austin District, where she oversees communications and public involvement efforts across 11 counties in Central Texas. Kellen supports public outreach for major projects including the Mobility35 program, I-35 Capital Express Central, and Loop 360. She also led public involvement efforts for the emergency reconstruction of the RM 1431 bridge at Cow Creek after the bridge was washed away on July 5, 2025. Prior to joining TxDOT, she served as a communications specialist at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, developing expertise in public engagement and complex stakeholder communications. Kellen is a proud Texan originally from Houston, Texas. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College.
