Longtime Austin-based sportswriter Brian Davis has been covering the Texas Longhorns since 2013 for the Austin American-Statesman and now A to Z Sports.com. He also covered college sports for 11 years at The Dallas Morning News. Brian is married to Debbie Davis, and they both spend all their extra money attending club volleyball tournaments all over the countryside. They’re praying 16-year-old daughter Adyson lands a college scholarship. Somewhere. Anywhere.
